This Privacy Policy describes how Callibri Befit collects, uses and discloses information, and what choices you have with respect to the information.
BrainBit Inc. built the Callibri Befit Application app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by BrainBit Inc. at no cost and is intended for use as is.
The data controller is BrainBit Inc. Callibri Befit data is processed using NTCloud, a cloud web platform that brings together several BrainBit solutions, including Callibri Befit. NTCloud is not a separate legal entity: it is owned and operated by BrainBit Inc., and every reference to NTCloud in this Privacy Policy means BrainBit Inc. acting through that platform.
This Privacy Policy applies to Mobile application Callibri Befit, next 'the app'. It also applies to the processing of Callibri Befit data on the NTCloud web platform (see Section 10).
In this Privacy Policy, “Platforms” means the Callibri Befit mobile application and the NTCloud web platform, and “Service” means the services provided through them.
If you do not agree with the terms, do not access or use the the app.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may collect and process various types of personal data, sensitive personal data and other information from you when you use our Platforms, and when you correspond with us by phone, email or otherwise. By using our Platforms, and/or using our product in conjunction with our Platforms, you are agreeing for us to collect and process the personal data provided as part of that process, for the purposes made clear to you at that time.
The personal data we collect from you may be held on paper or on a computer or other media, and is subject to certain legal safeguards specified in the GDPR Regulation and under certain applicable United States federal and state laws and regulations (collectively the “Legislation”).
Necessary Data includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address.
On the app we collect data which is User Data, i.e., data passively collected by us in the course of you using our product, the Callibri Befit device, in conjunction with the Callibri Befit application.
User Data includes:
· User account data: your email address and password relating to the user account information in the Callibri Befit
Callibri Befit device usage data:
· Data relating to your performance and workouts with the Callibri Befit device.
· Log data: As with most technology services delivered over the Internet, our servers automatically collect information when you access or use our product and record it in log files.
· Device information: Callibri Befit collects information about devices using Callibri Befit product, including type of device, what operating system is used, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers and crash data.
· Location information: Callibri Befit collects location information from devices in accordance with the consent process provided by your device only to allow the connection of Callibri Befit products with your Bluetooth device.
· NTCloud web data: if you sign in to the NTCloud web platform, we process your account data and the workout data synchronised from the app, as well as technical data such as IP address, browser type and session identifiers [and cookies, see Section 10].
· Data you send to us: information you provide when you contact support, for example your email address and the content of your message.
Callibri Befit uses personal data in furtherance of our legitimate interests in operating our product.
Callibri Befit uses User data:
· To create your personal user account in order for you to monitor your workouts and performances and to be able to keep your data after changing phone or tablet.
· To establish communication between the Callibri Befit device and the Callibri Befit application.
· To make your account and workout data available to you in the Callibri Befit app and on the NTCloud web platform and to synchronise it between them.
· To improve and optimize the application. For example we may detect that a game is not appreciated and thus focus our effort on improving it.
· To communicate with you by responding to your requests, comments and questions. If you contact us, we may use your User data to respond.
· To send emails and other communications. We may send you service, technical and other administrative emails, messages, surveys and other types of communications. We may also contact you to inform you about changes in our Callibri Befit device or application. We may access and assess your User Data in order to resolve a problem you are having with the product.
· All personal data we collect and process is stored on our secure servers in accordance with reasonable security practices as required by applicable law, legal process or regulation.
NTCloud is a cloud web platform owned and operated by BrainBit Inc. that serves as a single place for several BrainBit solutions, including Callibri Befit. It is not a separate legal entity.
When you use Callibri Befit, the data described in Section 2 is transmitted from the app to NTCloud servers, where it is stored and processed on behalf of BrainBit Inc. to provide your account, synchronize your workouts and keep your data when you change phone or tablet.
If you use other BrainBit solutions through NTCloud with the same account, account data only is shared between solutions, and that Callibri Befit workout data is not available to other solutions. Each solution’s own privacy information describes the data it processes.
The NTCloud web platform uses cookies.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
· The product provided through our Platforms is not marketed to, and should not be used by, anybody under the age of 18.
· We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. In the event that we discover that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with personal data, we will delete such data from our servers unless consent is given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility over the child.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our instructions: hosting / cloud provider, email delivery provider, crash reporting or analytics provider; and public authorities where we are legally required to do so.
Users have the opportunity to request the deletion of personal data. A request to delete account data can be sent at any time in the form of a written application to e-mail: support@brainbit.com.
You can also delete your account yourself: in the app at Settings → Account → Delete account or on the NTCloud web platform at Account → Delete account.
Upon receiving the request, the mobile application database administrator deletes the application account and its associated data, namely: ID, name, picture, and user’s locale, results of sessions.
In addition to the data listed above, deleting your account removes your email address, password, workout and performance data, and the data of your account stored on the NTCloud web platform. Data that we are required to keep by law is retained only for the period the law requires.
After deleting the account and associated data, the user receives a confirmation email.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page. For material changes we will also notify you in the app or by email. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this Privacy Policy.
